We were absolutely honoured to be invited to the 2023 Charity Christmas Concert of the North Solihull Singers on 12th December and thank them for their welcome and support.
Kris Chase-Byrne kindly nominated The Olibob Arts Foundation as the chosen charity for this year’s concert, and we are so pleased the committee agreed.
A whopping £1,360 was raised from ticket sales and from by the generous audience.
It was wonderful to see the choir thump out some great songs. Given the goal of the Foundation, it was heart warming to see the 2023 WINNER of our SOLIHULL RISING STAR Competition, 13-year-old, Izzy Walsh sing some great songs too.
Oli would have loved the show too, and he would have given Izzy a big hug for the incredible strength she showed when she sang those lovely songs. Drama groups played a big part of Oli’s life. He valued the many friendships he made and gained invaluable life skills which really helped him with his education and his career.
The impact of your contribution to our funds will have a real effect on the young people we reach. By giving them the opportunity to access drama, music, and the performing arts, we hope that they will also have a chance to build those skills that will benefit them in their lives, in whatever path they choose.
